On 17 October, Maddalena SpA had the honour of hosting the Ambassador of Mexico, Carlos García de Alba Zepeda, for an official visit. This event represented an important opportunity to strengthen the Company’s presence in Mexico, as well as to assess the new possibilities offered by this specific market, the most important for Italy in the American continent, second only to the United States.

The Ambassador was welcomed by Mr. Franco Maddalena, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Hilário Ribeiro, Area Manager LATAM, Mr. Christopher Larimore, President DAISSA Metering, Mr. Alejandro Mendoza, CTO DAISSA Metering and other members of the management team. One of the highlights was a visit to the production plant, where Ambassador García de Alba was able to see first-hand the state-of-the-art technologies that are used in the processes to produce water and thermal energy metering instruments. The Ambassador expressed great admiration and appreciation for the work observed and emphasised the importance of developing solid business relations with Mexico by seizing the opportunities offered by the market.

The Ambassador showed particular interest in the advanced technologies used in production processes and emphasised how these innovations can contribute to improving the responsible and sustainable management of water resources in Mexico as well. Several topics of common interest were also discussed during the meeting, including technological innovation applied to water metering, environmental sustainability and the opportunities currently offered by the Mexican market.
