Organized by Maddalena ditributor for Ukraine and the Kiev water utility, the meeting was held on 10 April at the company’s congress hall.
The audience was welcomed by Dmytro Novytskyi, general manager of the water utility. After the welcome speech Olga Babiy and Alexander Shkin took the floor, vice president and director of Vodokanal, the association of Ukrainian water utilities, and Volodymyr Galanyuk, representative expert of the Ministry of Regional Development.
Great interest was aroused by Yuriy Kuzmenko, deputy director of the Ukrainian metrology body, who delivered a speech on the effects of the MID directive on the Ukrainian system, and Kateryna Shvets, director of the Kiev water utility legal department, who spoke about the legal aspects of invoicing in the water sector.
The seminar was also attended by Massimiliano Alzetta, Export Manager at Maddalena. He gave a brief presentation of the recently expanded site and product range. He also gave an overview of the remote reading systems from walk-by mode to the use of IoT technologies.
