Last November 26, the fifth meeting of the symposium “Eccellenze del Nordest. Symposium 2019” (outstanding companies of North-Eastern Italy) was held in Pordenone. After Venice, Padua, Verona and Udine, another town of the Friuli region hosted the event promoted by the Orders of Chartered Accountants and Local Accounting Experts, in collaboration with the University of Venice, Ca’ Foscari. The aim of the event was to analyse and assess the state of health, the assets and liabilities, and the economic and financial performance of the most dynamic companies of north-eastern Italy.
To assess the performance, the budgets of 85 thousand companies were analysed. The companies are based in an area known as Triveneto. It extends 40 square kilometres from the town of Bolzano to the town of Trieste, and includes three regions–Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The picture emerging is an important indicator of the national economic situation and future prospects.
The meeting was an opportunity for discussion and reflection for the key players in the world of work and business, and institutions. It also confirmed Maddalena role as leading company at national level. For a homogeneous performance analysis, the survey identified a single numerical value and took into account the assets and liabilities, and the economic and financial performance over the last 5 years.
Maddalena ranked fifteenth among the major companies in Udine.
