Agreement signed between Maddalena SpA and the Tennis Time FVG Association
It was a day of sporting fun that was organised today by Filippo Fontanelli, CTO Maddalena SpA, together with his friend Stefano Baccarini, national coach of the Italian Tennis Federation and Coni-European 4th level coach.
In fact, since September, the newly renovated courts and facilities of the Tennis Time FVG Association have been open with special rates dedicated to all Maddalena employees and their families, thanks to the signing of an agreement between these two excellent local entities.
Maddalena SpA thus counts support for the tennis discipline among its sponsoring activities for the year 2023/24 and contributes with even more momentum to the achievement of Goal 3 of the UN Agenda 2030 ‘Health and Well-being’.
Tennis is an addictive sport and can become very addictive for those who play it, as it strengthens the body and mind, allowing us to release stress and nervousness and turn the latter into healthy competition with the opponent and with ourselves!
“We thought of a special day to bring the little ones closer to the sport; to get those parents who had perhaps left it aside to pick up the racket again, and to organise a few good matches between the more experienced players from Maddalena.” – says Stefano Baccarini, pleased with the success of the initiative.
“Thank you to everyone who participated in this first family tennis open day. We are confident that this is just the beginning of a new adventure that will help us grow as a team, both on the tennis court and in our working life” added Filippo Fontanelli.
Tennis, you know, is a sport that requires skill, concentration and the ability to adapt quickly to different situations. These characteristics are very similar to those needed to succeed in the working world and what better way then to get involved!
